Oprah is like the oasis in the housewifes life. Like the high preistess with her audience the apprentices. I really like watching oprah on most days, after cleaning, and wiping and cooking, and cleaning... it's a good show.

a colorful one

The girls in the sunshine. One of my first pictures with my digi cam that just arrived in the mail... now I want to take pictures of all my crafts that I've made, but my washing machine isn't working. I thought it would be nice to wash the blanket that I finally finished. arg. the kids have been using it a lot (and me too).. it's so cozy. and hers its pic..

This is my grrls on their new shiny tricycle that they got for christmas.. they play with it every day since, practicing indoors...hehe...
and there's grama and grampa (my parents) playin' some tunes together after x-mas morning. I'm in a family of musicians. I'm the only one who doesn't play:P..

finding motivation..

My mom gave me this really neat book about artist inspirations (and a bit of gentle nudges).. its such a good little book. It's just what I needed to read.. my creative output had been dismal for years, I guess cause I was looking after two babies... but before that I didn't do anything. I guess I prefered just feeling sorry for myself, and being stoned out of my mind too. Now things are changing.. kids are letting up a bit (harhar)... and I feel the creative urge again... my mom gave me her old husqvarna sewing machine too, which makes my life a bit easier. I guess those old machines I've carried along with me forever could have worked eventually, if I got them fixed, but they had to be oiled all the time, and they were so old.... lol.... like that should matter, but whatever.
