Crafty books I got in the mail recently

My new crafty books! :D I ordered them about a month and a half ago! I'm so glad they've arrived... theres going to be a lot more crafting in my future.

So, I've decided to buy a digital camera, even though I totally can't afford it, *only* so I can post pictures of my stuff on my blog...just kidding ...lol.I have many excuses.... I have inlaws across the country dying for pics... my old camera sucked ass (old type that used reg. film... it literally wouldn't work after about 15 pics were taken)... my kids are growing and I want to have lots of pics to remember all those cute moments.... this camera was on sale with $140 off (thank you boxing week sale)..... and, finally, I want to make money from my creations, so I need to have a camera to document my crafts. Maybe I can get a website too!?? exciting times.

so, lets see how this works....

ok, yay, I have a blog. Like I really need another place to waste my time on the net, but oh, well. I want to post pictures of my projects, but I don't actually have a digital camera, so that might be kinda difficult.... lol.

I'm making a quilt. Or, I should say *finishing* it. I stopped making it a couple of years ago after I stepped on a needle that was supposed to be in the quilt, and it broke off inside my foot. what a horrible experience that was. Had to get surgery, full anesthetia, and argggg. well, that's not what this blog is about, so I digress. I feel like finishing this quilt is quite healing perhaps.
